Beach Time
Happy Friday everyone! Doesn't this heat make you want to jump in the water, any water? Me too! This card makes me think of sand and water. I used a basic white card and embossed a light blue piece of cardstock using the Cuttlebug. (Thanks Mom for letting me play with this!) Then I cut out some different shapes using Accent Essentials in different patterned papers. The girl is Cheeky Beach from the Greeting Farm. She was colored using my Prismacolor pencils. After attaching the sun and circle of sand with Cheeky, I knew the left side needed something so I layered two different blue ribbons. I cut out another circle of the sand paper. Then I used the Tempting Turquoise ink from Stampin' Up with a simple quote that would fit any day. I gave this as a birthday card. Enjoy!
