One of our teachers at work, Melinda, got married recently and this card was made for the staff to sign for her wedding shower. (Thanks to the team member who asked me to make this!) I used the Paisley cartridge which has the umbrella. The background paper is from a card kit I bought years ago. I then cut a smaller blue cardstock to contrast the colors in the umbrella. The umbrella was first cut out in purple, Melinda's wedding color, and then layered on top with some of the patterned paper. I attached the umbrella to the card with some pop dots. Then I cut a flower out of the paper to attach to the middle of the umbrella. The word "love" is also from this same cartridge. I added the brown ribbon to tie it all together. Melinda immediately knew it was a "Holly" card. I guess that is a good thing!

It makes you feel good when someone recognizes yhour work immediately, doesn't it. We were recently at a baby shower and when Erica's and my cards were opened Nora knew immediatly who the gift was from.
