Happy Tuesday evening everyone! I made a gift for my mom this weekend and I wanted to share it with all of you. Every Wednesday during the summer, my mom and I would go to the movies. (My sisters joined us once - they do have to work - poor things!) My mom had not been to the movies since "Ocean's Eleven" came out so she was very excited. I decided to save all of our ticket stubs and make her a little scrapbook about the movies we saw. The front and back covers are chipboard covered in paper. I copied the movie posters and summaries from the internet and printed them out on cardstock. Then I gave each movie their own page. I bound the scrapbook using a Bind-It-All machine. This is an incredible machine that punches through just about anything. (There are great videos on YouTube about how to use it!) Now she has a keepsake about our summer fun. (And don't worry! I am not spoiling her surprise by posting these pics. My mom and dad are spending the week in Hawaii!!!!! She will get it when she gets back.) Aloha!

Holly, what a cute idea! And such a wonderful way to remember the summer. I know your mom will love it. Love, Glenna
Thanks - you must try this Bind it all machine. Too much fun!
What a great idea - I love it!!! I'm sure your mom is going to love her book of memories. The pages look incredible - I could definately take some scrapbooking classes from you. You would die to see the hundreds of pictures I have just sitting in my picture box so they don't get ruined. I seriously need to get making some cute books like you have. Thanks for sharing!!!
such a fun idea!
thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. I'm sure you'll love your girls just as much!! :)
This is a very cute idea...I am new to the whole blogging thing and just came across your blog...I also really like your word books...are they fairly easy to make?
Aartee,
Thanks for checking out my blog! My word books are easy to make - they just take a lot of time. I can send you some step by step directions if you want. Or I can make you a book!!
