I stopped by Crop Girls and picked up this adorable stamp set called Little Dreamer by The Greeting Farm. Isn't she adorable? There is a little boy and some quotes that go with it too. I stamped her twice and colored her with some Prisma colored pencils that I blended to give her some texture and color. Why two you might ask? Well, I colored in two backpacks and cut out the second backpack. As you can see on the second picture, I attached the second backpack on top of the first with some pop dots to make it stand out a little bit.
Then I used
some patterned cardstock to make a 5 1/2" by 5 1/2" inch card. I cut out a 4 inch square using Accent Essentials with my Cricut. Then I stamped the Happy Birthday with a stamp from Stampin' Up and cut it out with a matching punch. I also cut out some circles with my Cricut and attached those with some pop dots to make it look like she was dreaming about a Happy Birthday.

It was a lot of work for one card but I think it all came together well. And I think my grandma will approve.
